The Grand Secretary Steve Crane is pleased to announce that our recruitment effort for a new Executive Director has been successful.  He is pleased to announce the appointment of Alan Kelvin as the new Executive Director. 

It is with great pleasure that Grand Master Jon Sellars and I announce the appointment of Brother Alan Kelvin as the new Executive Director of DeMolay International. Alan will officially begin his new position on February 13th.

Alan comes to us with an extensive and long involvement with DeMolay. Alan began his journey with DeMolay in the Manoel Gonzaga Filho Chapter in Rio Branco in western Brazil in December 2005. He continued his service to the young men of DeMolay as an adult leader and advisor. Alan developed and provided staff training for Region 9 adult advisors. Alan was a member of the original programming group that created eScribe while he worked as a programmer for DiCorel™ in Campo Grande, Brazil. 

Alan has a Master’s in Business Administration. Alan serves as an adult advisor in the Moscow, Idaho, Chapter.  

Alan has been employed by Farmers Insurance agency in Moscow, Idaho, as an Associate Agency Manager since January 2020. Alan, his wife, Dr. Bruna Santos, and their 15-month-old daughter Sophia will relocate to Kansas City, MO, over the next few weeks. Please welcome Alan at akelvin@demolay.org.
