There were four special prizes awarded throughout the evening, and at the end of the Auction, the four brothers who received one of the special prizes came

up to the front of the room to reveal their prize. Each of the four brothers received a tube of toothpaste. One brother, Sam Workman, of Maine, also made out with $20 in addition to his toothpaste!

The Nickel Auction is a Region 1 LTC tradition that dates back to the early 90s. For over two decades, this event has inspired DeMolays from all over Region 1 to put on events that don't necessarily cost a lot of money, but that result in a lot of fun memories.
