One of the staple events at Region 1 LTC is the DeMolay Jeopardy competition between the Chapters. This year's group of DeMolays seemed to have some difficulty with following the rules! Dad Holter, who played the role of Alex Trebek, was angered and confused by the lack of following directions.

After the first round of questions, every single Chapter had a negative dollar amount because they could not grasp the concept of answering in the form of a question.

All silliness aside, however, the DeMolay campers had a blast sharing the knowledge about the organization they had with one another during the competition. While only one chapter walked away victorious, each chapter walked away with a much better sense of the organization and its basics because of this exercise.

Every night at LTC, we try to lighten the mood with a fun event due to the fact that the kids are in educational sessions for most of the day.

DeMolay Jeopardy is one of the best nights of the entire camp experience. The young men were able to educate one another without even realizing what was really going on. They also learned yet again that a fun event like this can be held with very little financial commitment on the planning end.
